Different chemical make-ups of each material affect its lifespan. 1. Heat Exposure – If paper will be exposed to temperatures higher than 140 degrees Fahrenheit, then you need to choose heat-resistant paper such as the 8000D High-Temp 3.2mil receipt.
2. Moisture – How damp is the environment that the receipt paper will be exposed to?
3. Topcoating – This will act as a safeguard coating for the receipt by providing a layer of protection.
4. Thickness – The thicker the paper, the less paper on the roll. This results in more roll changes.
