Zebra Receipt Paper

All receipt paper looks the same, but looks can be very deceiving. In fact, different receipt papers can be very different and affect your how long the receipt will last. Different chemical make-ups of each material affect its lifespan. Zebra’s Z-Perform, Z-Select, 8000D, and PolyPro receipt papers all are excellent options depending on the atmosphere and conditions they will be exposed to. Here are a few considerations when making your receipt paper selection:
  1. Heat Exposure – If paper will be exposed to temperatures higher than 140 degrees Fahrenheit, then you need to choose heat-resistant paper such as the 8000D High-Temp 3.2mil receipt.
  2. Moisture – How damp is the environment that the receipt paper will be exposed to?
  3. Topcoating – This will act as a safeguard coating for the receipt by providing a layer of protection.
  4. Thickness – The thicker the paper, the less paper on the roll. This results in more roll changes.
  5. Archivability – How long do the receipts need to last if you plan on saving and storing them in archives?
  6. Pre-printed receipts – If you would like a custom receipt, Zebra can have that done for you by pre-printing your logo, watermarks, fields and other text.
