Zebra Labels & Tags

No Zebra printer is complete without labels and tags for printing. Whether the printer uses thermal transfer or direct thermal, there are 7 different types of labels and 4 different types of tags to accomplish your printing goals.

1. Z-Perform (Standard Paper Labels & Tags): Standard, bright white smooth paper facestock specially coated to provide the optimal balance between performance and price. These labels and tags are offered in either thermal transfer or direct thermal.

2. Z-Select (Premium Paper Labels & Tags): Premium, bright white, ultra smooth paper facestock specially coated to provide optimal performance. These labels and tags are offered in either thermal transfer or direct thermal.

3. PolyO (Rough or Curved Surface Synthetic Labels): White polyolefin facestock providing minimal resistance to scratching and smearing, temperatures up to 200 degrees F (93 degrees C) and up to 6 months outdoors. Offering includes semi-rigid and flexible materials for use on rough or curved surfaces. These labels are only offered in thermal transfer.

4. PolyPro (Excellent All-around Synthetic Labels & Tags): White matte polypropylene facestock offering some flexibility for labeling curved surfaces. Resistant to scratching and smearing, temperatures up to 250 degrees F (121 degrees C) and 1-2 years outdoors. Offering includes Kimdura materials. These labels are offered in either thermal transfer or direct thermal.

5. Z-Xtreme (Harsh Chemical Resistant Synthetic Labels): Matte polyester facestock with good smear and scratch resistance, excellent resistance to harsh chemicals, temperature exposure up to 300 degrees F (149 degrees C) and up to 3 years outdoors. Offering includes a selection of white, silver and clear materials. These labels are only offered in thermal transfer.

6. Z-Ultimate (Smear and Scratch Resistant Synthetic Labels & Tags): Gloss polyester facestock that provides unparalleled smear and scratch resistance, resistance to moderate chemicals and up to 3 years outdoors. Offering includes a selection of white, silver and clear materials. These labels are only offered in thermal transfer.

7. Z-Supreme (High-temp Synthetic Labels): Polyimide facestock designed for high-temperature environments up to 500 degrees F (250 degrees C). Gloss option available in white, yellow, blue and green, matte option available in white. These labels are only offered in thermal transfer.

  1. Thank you for posting this. I have a zebra printer that I am constantly buying new labels for. However, when I get to the store, I never remember which type to buy. I will have to print this out and put in my purse as a cheat sheet in case I forget again.

    A barcode scanner can read the specific sequence of bars and spaces, which indicate numbers and other things. Similarly, a Zebra barcode printer is available to print the barcode labels.
